The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Labourer / Taping & Jointing Labourer to support works on a busy construction site in Southwark.

This role would suit someone with general labouring experience, or someone looking to gain exposure and develop skills within taping and jointing. It’s a practical, hands-on position with the opportunity to build experience within interior construction trades.

Please note: This role is open to Southwark residents only who are currently out of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties across site
• Move boards, materials and equipment safely
• Keep working areas clean, organised and ready for trades
• Support site teams with day-to-day tasks
• Assist taping and jointing operatives where required
• Follow all site health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Green CSCS Card (preferred)
• Understanding of construction site health & safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must be a Southwark resident
• Must be currently unemployed
