About the Role
As a Bat Ecologist at SLR Consulting Limited, you will be proactive in developing your own technical knowledge alongside formal training. You will share your expertise to develop and mentor more junior members of the team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse ecological projects, contributing to environmental assessments and surveys. You will be expected to manage project duties including planning and scheduling surveys, budget management, and client liaison. The position requires a strong theoretical grounding in ecology and environmental assessment, with a focus on bats and related species.

Experience
BSc in Ecology, Biological Science, Zoology or equivalent (MSc desirable). Eligible for CIEEM membership (level dependent on grade). Good theoretical grounding in ecology and environmental assessment. Experience in project management duties including planning and scheduling surveys, budget management, and client liaison is desirable.
About you
Proactive and motivated with a passion for ecology and environmental consultancy. Able to mentor junior team members and share knowledge effectively. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Full UK driving licence is required.
Qualifications
BSc Ecology, Biological Science, Zoology or equivalent required. MSc is desirable. Eligibility for CIEEM membership is essential.
