About the Role
SLR Consulting Limited has a busy, well-established Land Quality team within its European Operations. Due to ongoing commercial success and a strong forward order book, we are expanding our Land Quality team in Leeds. The team undertakes a wide variety of geo-environmental assessments across the built environment, industry, infrastructure, and energy sectors. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to join a team of leading geoscience professionals, including geotechnical engineers, geologists, and contaminated land specialists, within a truly multinational consultancy. The Land Quality team conducts a broad range of site assessments, investigations, and associated reporting for a diverse client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking and managing project tasks, fieldwork, and data manipulation, as well as assisting in preparing reports to provide expert advice to clients.

Experience
- Experience in geo-environmental site investigations and reporting
- Experience managing fieldwork and coordinating site investigation contractors
- Strong data analysis, interpretation and technical reporting skills
- Knowledge of contaminated land and geo-environmental assessment practices
- Understanding of relevant health and safety requirements for site-based work
- A driving licence permitting legal driving in the UK, as regular site visits are required

We have positions available at Project, Senior, and Associate grades (SLR’s grading structure: Graduate - Project – Senior – Associate – Principal – Technical Director). Level of experience will depend on the grade, but all candidates should demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a related discipline is required.
