About the Role

Veolia is seeking an enthusiastic Bid Project Manager to join our Public Sector Business Development team based in Kings Cross, London. In this role, you will contribute to Veolia’s vision of securing a substantial share of the UK public sector market for waste management and environmental services contracts.

You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and project teams to understand client needs, develop technical, legal, and financial bid solutions, and collaborate with operational and business support functions to ensure robust proposals. You will manage the tender process, ensuring submissions meet client requirements and deadlines, write detailed Method Statements, prepare presentations, attend client meetings, and liaise with Local Authorities during the clarification process.

This role requires producing high-quality, accurate work and providing project management support to the department as needed. You will lead parts of the tender solution and play a key role in delivering successful bids that align with Veolia’s ambitions and values.

Experience
Previous bidding and/or business development experience is essential. Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality written content with strong attention to detail.

About you
You are a well-organised, ambitious individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a very high standard of written English and strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Word and proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Google Suite is desirable. You are flexible regarding working hours, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling business-critical data. You are equally comfortable working as part of a team or on your own initiative.
