Net Zero Careers Accelerator supports people into skilled construction careers through paid apprenticeships that combine hands on site experience with recognised qualifications. Bricklaying apprenticeships offer a strong entry point into long term trade careers within the built environment.
This Bricklaying Apprentice role provides the opportunity to work on a live construction site while completing a Level 2 NVQ in Bricklaying. You will spend one day per week at college and the remainder of the week on site, developing practical skills under the supervision of experienced bricklayers.

Section 106 Eligibility
This role is funded through a Section 106 agreement and is open to residents of Westminster only. Applicants must be able to provide proof of address.
What You Will Do
• Support qualified bricklayers with day to day site tasks
• Carry out heavy lifting and movement of materials
• Mix mortar and prepare materials
• Assist with cutting blocks once trained
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working area
• Carry out general labouring and ad hoc tasks to support bricklaying works
• Follow all site health and safety procedures and instructions
Essential
• This role is funded through a Section 106 agreement and is open to residents of Westminster only.
• Valid CSCS card
• Willingness to work on a construction site
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn
Desirable
• Interest in progressing into a qualified bricklayer role
• Previous site or construction experience
