This role supports the electrical design and delivery of heat pump, solar PV, battery storage and MVHR systems across the Southeast.

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer confident in PV and heat pump system design.
What You Will Do
• Design and specify electrical systems for solar PV, heat pumps, MVHR and battery storage
• Produce electrical drawings, schematics and installation documentation
• Carry out load calculations, cable sizing and system assessments
• Design LV distribution systems including protection and earthing arrangements
• Support integration of renewable technologies into existing infrastructure
• Liaise with DNOs regarding G98 and G99 grid connection applications
• Attend site meetings where required
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, Building Regulations and MCS standards
Essential
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in electrical building services design
• Experience designing PV and heat pump systems
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and current UK electrical regulations
• Experience producing technical calculations and documentation
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to attend the North London / Hertfordshire office at least 2 days per week
Desirable
• Experience with battery storage and MVHR systems
• Familiarity with G98 and G99 grid connection processes
• Experience attending site meetings and supporting installation teams

• Pay: £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
• Location: North London / Hertfordshire office with Southeast project coverage
• Working Pattern: Full time, minimum 2 days per week office based
