Join a leading consultancy in radioactive waste management and nuclear decommissioning as a Consultant. Requirements

Experience
Numerical modelling experience is essential. Experience with coding languages such as Python or C++ is required. Knowledge of specialised modelling software related to neutron/particle transport (e.g. MCNP), site characterisation, groundwater flow, gas transfer, or contaminant transport (e.g. GoldSim, COMSOL) is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Experience working to deadlines, prioritisation, and effective communication is advantageous.

Qualifications
A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a quantitative science subject (e.g. Physics, Chemistry), applied mathematics, or engineering is essential. You must be able to meet the UK baseline personnel security standard (BPSS) clearance requirements. Project and contract management training will be provided, but prior experience is desirable.
