About the Role
Due to expanding workload, we are seeking an MSc-qualified Hydrogeologist to join our growing and highly successful multidisciplinary team. You will work as part of integrated project teams of geo-environmental and geotechnical specialists delivering solution-oriented services to existing and new clients. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of challenging hydrogeological projects and strong career growth potential for an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate. A commitment to obtain chartership is essential, with full support provided to progress toward this goal.

Your responsibilities will include the design and management of site investigations, including on-site supervision, logging, sampling, and pumping test analysis. You will manage groundwater, gas, and surface water monitoring and develop detailed conceptual site models. Experience in controlled waters risk assessment (both GQRA and DQRA), borehole prognosis, resource assessments, and landfill hydrogeological risk assessments is required. You will engage with regulatory bodies for Environmental Permitting and produce interpretive reports. Proficiency in hydrogeological modelling software such as RTM v3.2, ConSim, MODFLOW, FEFLOW, AquiferWIN32, or similar is beneficial, along with experience in geothermal and mine water heat projects.

Requirements

Experience
Several years of hydrogeology experience, preferably within consultancy. Proven skills in site activities, factual and interpretative reporting, data management, analysis, and presentation of results. Experience with hydrogeological modelling software and regulatory engagement is highly desirable.

Energetic, innovative, and self-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills. Good time management, presentation skills, and a flexible attitude are essential to thrive in a busy and dynamic team environment. Commitment to obtaining chartership is required.

Experience using GIS software (QGIS/ARC), coding (e.g. Python), and database management will be a valuable asset.

Qualifications
BSc in geology, environmental science, or a related discipline, complemented by an MSc in hydrogeology. Commitment to professional development and chartership progression is essential.
