About the Role
This is an Expression of Interest to join Stantec as a Programme Manager within our Water sector. In this role, you will work closely with clients to manage benefits, costs, and commercial aspects of programmes, ensuring financial efficiency and value. You will oversee projects and programmes from inception to completion, driving successful delivery and operational success. You will be responsible for reporting performance metrics with accuracy and quality, while fostering continuous learning and innovation to improve processes and build team capabilities. Your leadership will promote collaborative improvement, change management, coaching, innovation, team safety, accountability, and effective problem-solving. You will also conduct independent research and analysis to develop strategies, resolve conflicts, and prioritise solutions that align with project goals and stakeholder needs. Risk management and proactive negotiation will be key, including assessing risks, providing recommendations, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to support informed decision-making and empower team success.

Experience
Relevant experience as a programme manager, project manager, or PMO. Experience in the water sector is preferable but not essential. Senior applicants should demonstrate a track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Excellent analytical skills for independent research, strategy development, conflict resolution, and prioritisation. Proactive in risk management and negotiation, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and team empowerment. Committed to learning, innovation, and building team capabilities.

Qualifications
Industry-recognised qualifications such as APM or MSP are desirable.
