About the Role
Join Stantec's Infrastructure team as a Graduate Civil Engineer on the 2026 Graduate Programme. Based in Manchester, you will support the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the UK, with a focus on highway schemes and infrastructure design including highway alignment, pavement and drainage design. You will be involved in all project phases from feasibility through to construction, working within a multi-disciplinary transport team.
Your responsibilities will include developing concept, preliminary and detailed scheme designs, preparing design reports, specifications and technical notes, and completing engineering design work and calculations including 3D design models. You will research new technologies and construction techniques to minimise environmental impact, assist in managing Health and Safety risks, prepare cost estimates, and support clients in value engineering solutions within time, cost and environmental constraints.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders and professionals across disciplines, supporting project management processes to monitor programme, cost and risk. The role offers structured graduate training, mentorship from a Delegated Engineer and Supervising Civil Engineer, excellent client exposure, professional development, and a collaborative, innovative working environment.
Experience
No prior professional experience required. Enthusiasm for civil engineering and infrastructure is essential.

Qualifications
