About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Level 6 Apprentice Flood Risk Consultant starting in summer/autumn 2026. This exciting 5-year apprenticeship offers hands-on experience combined with academic qualifications to launch a successful career within the Water industry. Based in London, you will work alongside a team applying modelling techniques to assist developers in tackling flood risk issues and evaluating the implications and costs of proposed mitigation measures. Your work will be critical in ensuring developments are appropriate for their sites and in maximising the likelihood of approval. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, gaining practical experience and learning through real projects in a supportive environment.

Experience
No prior experience is required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential. The apprenticeship can be tailored to reflect any relevant existing knowledge or industry experience you may have.

Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work effectively within a team are important. You should be motivated, eager to develop professionally, and ready to contribute to a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English (grade 5 or 6 (B) or above)
- BTEC in Mathematics (grade Merit or above)
Desirable:
- A Levels with grades BBC including Mathematics (grade B or above)
