About the Role
Are you a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer passionate about delivering sustainable solutions? Your role will involve leading the mechanical design for critical infrastructure and non-infrastructure water projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to construction support. This includes design leadership for water and wastewater treatment plants, conveyance systems, and pumping stations. You will manage feasibility studies, optioneering, detailed design packages, site surveys, and investigations.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes and play a key role in mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Experience
Proven substantial experience in mechanical design within the water industry. Experience in design for construction is beneficial. Background working for or closely with delivery contractors is advantageous but not essential.
About you
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject. Chartered status or actively working towards it is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers. Passionate about sustainable engineering solutions and collaborative working.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Chartered Engineer status desirable or working towards chartership.
