About the Role
As an HGV Driver (Category C/C1) at Veolia, you will play a vital role in delivering essential services to local communities. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-trip and end-of-shift vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance, operating the vehicle safely while adhering to traffic laws and HGV-specific regulations, and reporting any mechanical issues to the workshop. You will ensure compliance with drivers' hours regulations and take mandatory rest breaks. Maintaining a professional working relationship with management and clients, following health and safety protocols, and keeping the vehicle clean and properly maintained are also key aspects of this role. You will be part of one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, contributing to environmental care and community wellbeing every day.

Experience
Essential: Valid Class 2 licence and an up-to-date CPC / DIGI card. Prior experience working within waste is desirable but not essential.
