As a Site Operative, you will operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of vehicles. You will use degreasers and chemicals while following health and safety risk assessments and method statements. Maintaining an established schedule and providing feedback to improve efficiency will be part of your daily tasks. You will clean up debris and waste materials from the wash area and site, perform other manual duties as directed by the Workshop Manager, keep tools and equipment in good repair, and maintain site areas to ensure safe operation at all times. You will follow health and safety PPE requirements consistently, complete vehicle washing logs, and manage necessary vehicle movements to and from other locations.

Experience
Training or experience in the use of pressure washers is essential. Forklift licence (Counterbalance) and leadership experience are desirable. Qualification issued by the Water Jetting Association (WJA) is also desirable.

Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. You should actively seek solutions to problems and demonstrate flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks. You must be able to work alone and follow health and safety procedures consistently.

Qualifications
UK Full HGV licence (Category C) is essential.
