What you’ll be doing:
- Wear PPE
- Move and load waste
- Report contamination and non-compliant waste batteries
- Report all service, safety and environmental concerns
- Work as a team
- Stay in contact with the team on 2 way radio
- Look out for each other and our customers
- Check all vehicles before using them, report defects
- Stop the job if it's unsafe, report to line manager
- Stay alert for fires, report smoke, smouldering and flames

Experience
Essential:
- Experienced working in an operational environment
- Loading shovel ticket
- 360 & grab license
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a waste management environment

About you
Committed to safety and teamwork, alert to potential hazards, and able to communicate effectively using a 2 way radio. You take pride in looking out for colleagues and customers, and are proactive in reporting any concerns or defects to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications
Loading shovel ticket and 360 & grab license are essential for this role.
