About the Role
Join Amazon as an Electrical Engineering Program Manager and help scale our electrification transformation across Europe's last-mile and middle-mile delivery network. You will design and implement electrical standards that enable our fleet to transition to zero-emission vehicles, directly contributing to Amazon's commitment to reach net-zero carbon by 2040. Key responsibilities include developing and managing vendor relationships to ensure installation capacity and commissioning quality, validating electrical designs to confirm adherence to standards during installation of electrical equipment and EV charging infrastructure, and aligning stakeholder expectations by defining and communicating electrical standards that improve carbon footprint and support adoption of new tools and processes across EU delivery stations. You will monitor cost control and financial performance while maintaining focus on installation reliability and program outcomes, and report progress to leadership on program and project milestones, ensuring accurate tracking of deliverables and outcomes.
As an Electrical Engineering Program Manager, you will engage with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization to drive decisions impacting the entire delivery station network. Your day may include collaborating with Operations, Process Improvement, Health and Safety, Finance, and Procurement teams to design and deploy new EV charging infrastructure and electrical equipment into delivery stations. You will validate electrical designs to ensure compliance with standards during installation, coordinate with external vendors on commissioning quality, and provide regular updates to leadership on program progress. You will work in a cooperative environment where colleagues share a commitment to making Amazon a global reference for sustainability.
About the team: The EU AMZL Sustainability Engineering team is responsible for defining and continuously improving electrical standards for EV charging networks and smart grid solutions. The team partners closely with Global Fleet, Field Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure reliable design while maintaining cost efficiency. You will be part of a group dedicated to building the infrastructure that enables our electrification mission.
