About the Role
GreenGenUK, part of the Hometree Group, is expanding across Devon and Cornwall and seeking talented electricians to join one of the South West's leading renewable energy installation teams. Established in 2011, GreenGenUK delivers award-winning renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial sectors. Projects include installing Tesla Powerwall battery systems, wiring and commissioning air source heat pumps, EV charging equipment, and large-scale commercial solar installations in factories and hospitals.
If you want to develop your career beyond standard domestic electrical work and work with cutting-edge renewable technologies, this role offers excellent opportunities. We also welcome ambitious apprentices or trainee electricians in their second or third year of qualification looking to build a long-term career in renewables.
A typical week may include installing battery storage systems, air source heat pumps, EV chargers, solar PV installations, testing and certification, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades, and supporting large-scale commercial renewable projects. Our customers range from homeowners in historic cottages to commercial and NHS facilities, where quality workmanship and customer service are paramount.
