About the Role
The Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK's largest environmental consultancies, is seeking an Environmental Consultant to join the growing team in Derby. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be involved in a wide range of development projects primarily across the East Midlands. Your responsibilities will include providing environmental advice on surface water management and environmental incidents on active construction sites, producing environmental management plans such as Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans, auditing construction sites for compliance, and advising clients on UK regulatory requirements including permit applications and exemptions. You will liaise with regulators including the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales, respond to and manage environmental incidents such as fuel/oil spills, silt and effluent discharges, and provide on-site training to clients on ecology, contamination, and waste management. Additionally, you will be involved in producing quotations and tenders for new projects and managing clients and projects effectively.

Requirements

Experience
Minimum 2 to 10 years experience in the environmental sector.
Proven ability to deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
Experience working closely and confidently with clients and regulators.
Track record of managing time and resources effectively and within budget.

Qualifications
