About the Role
RSK Geosciences, part of the RSK Group, is recruiting a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team based in Derby. The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to a diverse range of clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. This role involves designing and managing a variety of geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects for both external clients and internal teams within RSK. Key responsibilities include soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, laboratory scheduling, preparation of Health & Safety plans and RAMS, and development of remediation strategies including verification works on site. The role requires establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to support the growth of the Geosciences department and providing technical leadership in project delivery. Experience
- Significant and demonstrable experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations and reporting
- Proven ability to prepare geotechnical and geo-environmental preliminary assessments and detailed reports

Qualifications
- BEng or BSc (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
- A further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science is desirable
- Registered with a suitable professional body and working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution (e.g. Geological Society, CIWEM, ICE)
