About the Role
The Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK's largest environmental consultancies, is seeking a Geo-environmental Consultant to join the growing team in Derby. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be involved in a wide range of development projects primarily across the East Midlands. Your responsibilities will include providing environmental advice on surface water management and environmental incidents, producing environmental management plans such as Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites, auditing construction sites for compliance, and advising clients on UK regulatory requirements. You will liaise with regulators including the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales, respond to and manage environmental incidents such as fuel/oil spills and silt discharges, and provide on-site training to clients on ecology, contamination, and waste management. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing quotations and tenders for new projects and managing clients and projects effectively.

Experience
Between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector. Proven ability to deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy and manage time and resources effectively within budget.

About you
Confident in working closely with clients and regulators. Strong communication and organisational skills. Full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant environmental sector qualifications are expected. Support and encouragement will be provided to gain chartered status through Continuing Professional Development.
