About the Role

Our Water Consultancy Division is a centre of excellence addressing water and wastewater challenges, delivering diverse and technically challenging projects that ensure safe water supplies and environmental protection for future generations. We provide services throughout the full project life cycle, from advisory and feasibility studies to design, construction support, and site supervision.
As a Flood Risk Modeller, you will develop hydraulic models using software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, and Infoworks ICM to support flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, flood mapping, integrated catchment, and reservoir flood studies. You will analyse data using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, and Microsoft Excel, produce high-quality client reports, and undertake hydrological assessments using Flood Estimation Handbook, ReFH2, and WINFAP.
Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will have opportunities to develop project management and business development skills, engage with clients, and mentor junior staff. You will join a collaborative team with expertise in hydrology, hydrogeology, water quality, catchment management, climate resilience, hydraulic modelling, flood risk, and computational fluid dynamics.
