Fineshade, Northamptonshire, covering sites across Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
Hours
37 hours per week, with occasional weekend and public holiday working.

About the Role
As a Forest Centre Manager at Forestry England, you will be responsible for managing recreation operations across multiple sites. Your key duties will include leading the recreation team, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing budgets with a focus on income generation, overseeing contract and asset management, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance and deliver an excellent visitor experience. You will be based at the Fineshade office (NN17 3BB) and will require a full current UK driving licence to fulfill the role, although alternative proposals for fulfilling driving requirements may be considered. Experience
Relevant experience in managing teams and operations within a recreation or forestry environment is desirable. Experience in budget management, contract oversight, and health and safety compliance is important.

You have excellent decision-making skills and are committed to improving visitor experiences while maintaining safety and operational standards. A full current UK driving licence is required to carry out the duties of this role, although alternative arrangements may be considered.
Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements stated; however, relevant professional qualifications or experience in forestry, recreation management, or related fields will be advantageous.
