About the Role

You will support a broad range of sectors including industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, land development, ports, road, and rail by delivering services such as desk studies, site investigation, risk assessment, remediation strategy, design, implementation and validation, environmental monitoring, and project close-out. This role offers the opportunity to develop both technical and commercial skills, take ownership of projects, and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes. You will deliver Phase 1 environmental assessments, ground investigations, and routine monitoring tasks; work independently to ensure technical quality, budget control, and programme adherence; support fee proposal preparation; and manage projects from desk study and feasibility through to remediation design and delivery. Experience
- Hands-on experience with field investigation including site management, drilling supervision, groundwater and ground gas sampling, and supervision of remediation activities.
- Good understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management.
- Development of conceptual site models and qualitative risk assessment.
About you
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports.
- Ability to work independently while managing technical quality, budgets, and schedules.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and work away from home for periods of time.
- Holds a full driving licence and CSCS card.
Qualifications
- Ideally, a minimum of an undergraduate degree in an environmental, science, or engineering-based subject.
