About the Role
RSK Geosciences is seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team in Coventry. The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to a diverse range of clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. This role offers a challenging and rewarding career with market-leading training and progression opportunities. You will be involved in running and supporting Phase I & II geo-environmental ground investigations across various project scales and site types, with senior support as needed. Responsibilities include undertaking site works using intrusive investigation methods, environmental monitoring visits and reporting, incident response visits, soil logging to UK standards, and laboratory scheduling. Experience
- Typically 1-5 years of relevant experience in geo-environmental consultancy or related fields
- Experience running or supporting Phase I & II ground investigations
- Familiarity with geology, ground investigation works, contaminated land, and geotechnics
- Basic knowledge of planning legislation
- Ability to complete factual and interpretative assessments at a basic level
- Proven track record in managing time and resources effectively within budget

Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- MSc desirable but not essential
