About the Role
RSK Geosciences is seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our Midlands team based in Coventry. You will be part of a dynamic Geosciences team providing consultancy and design services to a diverse range of clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting long-term projects with market-leading training and career progression. Your responsibilities will include running and supporting Phase I & II geo-environmental ground investigations across various project scales and site types, undertaking site works using intrusive investigation methods, conducting environmental monitoring visits and incident response reporting, and soil logging to current UK standards. You will also be involved in factual and interpretive reporting and laboratory scheduling. Experience
- Typically 1-5 years of relevant experience in geo-environmental consultancy or related fields
- Experience running and supporting Phase I & II ground investigations
- Knowledge of geology, ground investigation works, contaminated land, and geotechnics
- Ability to complete factual and interpretative assessments at a basic level
- Experience delivering projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
- Proven track record managing time and resources effectively and within budget

Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- MSc desirable but not essential
- Working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution
- Full UK driving licence required
- Basic knowledge of planning legislation
