About the Role
RSK Geosciences is seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team in Coventry. You will be part of a dynamic geosciences team providing consultancy and design services to a diverse range of clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting long-term projects with market-leading training and career progression. Your responsibilities will include running and supporting Phase I & II geo-environmental ground investigations across various project scales and site types, undertaking site works using intrusive investigation methods, environmental monitoring visits and reporting, incident response visits, and soil logging to current UK standards. You will also be involved in laboratory scheduling and producing factual and interpretive reports. Requirements

Experience
- Typically 1-5 years of relevant experience in geo-environmental consultancy or related fields
- Experience running and supporting geo-environmental ground investigations
- Familiarity with geology, ground investigation works, contaminated land, and geotechnics
- Basic knowledge of planning legislation
- Proven ability to manage time and resources effectively within budget
- Experience delivering projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment

- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills for reporting and client interaction
- Holds a full UK driving licence

Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- MSc desirable but not essential
- Working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution is preferred
