About the Role
The Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK's largest environmental consultancies, is seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the growing team in Derby. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be involved in a wide range of development projects primarily across the East Midlands. Your responsibilities will include providing environmental advice on surface water management and environmental incidents, producing environmental management plans such as Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites, auditing construction sites for compliance, and advising clients on UK regulatory requirements. You will liaise with regulators including the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales, respond to and manage environmental incidents such as fuel/oil spills and silt discharges, provide on-site training to clients on ecology, contamination, and waste management, produce quotations and tenders for new projects, and manage clients and projects effectively.

Experience
Between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector. Proven ability to deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment. Experience working closely and confidently with clients and regulators. Demonstrated track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget.
About you
Confident communicator with strong client management skills. Motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Committed to professional development and achieving chartered status. Full UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
Relevant environmental or geosciences qualifications preferred. Support and training will be provided to enable technical and managerial progression, including assistance towards chartered status.
