About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to support the safe and compliant delivery of multiple retrofit and decarbonisation projects across the South East.

In this role, you will champion a positive safety culture, provide expert HSE guidance, and ensure compliance across a variety of residential energy-efficiency projects. You’ll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive safety culture across all site operations
• Carry out site inspections, audits and deliver toolbox talks
• Provide practical HSE advice to project teams and subcontractors
• Support incident investigations and drive corrective actions
• Monitor and report HSE performance to management
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and environmental legislation
• Lead on RAMS, safe systems of work and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood
• Maintain, review and update HSE policies, procedures and documentation
• Ensure statutory training, reporting and welfare compliance
• Manage PPE stock and ordering
• Conduct safety inspections, fire alarm tests and manage lone working procedures
• Deliver internal HSE training and keep training records up to date
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies
