We are currently recruiting a Process Technician to join a water operations team working across treatment facilities and pump stations in South West London. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone looking to develop technical skills in water supply operations, maintenance and environmental performance.

Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential. Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Brixton area.

What You’ll Do
• Operate plant and equipment to treat and monitor groundwater and ensure safe water supply
• Conduct routine inspections, safety checks and basic fault-finding on treatment systems
• Record asset information and monitor performance using a field laptop
• Handle chemical deliveries safely and complete associated paperwork
• Clean, maintain and calibrate operational equipment as needed
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed and raise any site risks or incidents
• Provide guidance to new starters and support collaborative site practices
• Attend team briefings and contribute to ongoing site improvements

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in any technical or maintenance environment (water experience not required)
• Motivated, reliable and disciplined with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Able to use a field laptop or tablet to record data and asset info
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Willingness to complete safety training

Pay, Hours, Location, Start Date
• Salary: Starting from £28,335 per year depending on skills and experience
• Hours: 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
• Additional: Standby rota payments and overtime available after training
• Location: Brixton area – must live within a commutable distance
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Permanent, Full Time
