About the Role
As an HGV Driver with Veolia, you will play a vital role in delivering essential services that help communities and protect the environment. You will maintain and clean public areas including streets, channels, footpaths, alleys, subways, and areas around street furniture using supplied equipment. Your duties will be carried out efficiently and effectively to ensure maximum productivity. You will complete all required paperwork or electronic forms accurately and comply with Health & Safety procedures, wearing appropriate Veolia PPE at all times. You may work independently or as part of a team. Reporting fly tipping, graffiti, fly posting, and damaged or missing litter bins will be part of your responsibilities. At the end of each shift, you will ensure the vehicle cab is clear of litter, uniform, and personal effects. Any accidents occurring during your shift must be reported and documented before leaving work. Full training will be provided, and the role involves working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions.

Experience
- Class 2 Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC / DIGI card
- Local geographical knowledge and experience driving in the area is highly desirable
- Experience in waste transport is advantageous
