About the Role
Join one of the UK's largest growing fleets and play a pivotal role in delivering essential services to local communities. As an HGV Driver at Veolia, you will help take better care of the environment and contribute to a positive impact every day. Your duties will include maintaining and cleaning public areas such as streets, channels, footpaths, alleys, subways, and around street furniture using supplied equipment. You will perform tasks efficiently to ensure maximum productivity, accurately complete paperwork or electronic forms, and comply with Health & Safety procedures while wearing appropriate Veolia PPE. You may work independently or as part of a team, reporting any fly tipping, graffiti, fly posting, or damaged/missing litter bins. At the end of each shift, you are responsible for leaving the vehicle cab clear of litter, uniform, and personal effects. Any accidents must be reported and documented before leaving work. Full training will be provided, and you will be working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions.

Experience
Essential: Class 2 Driving Licence and an up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.
Desirable: Local geographical knowledge including experience driving in the area and experience in waste transport.

Reliable and safety-conscious with a commitment to following Health & Safety procedures. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Motivated to contribute positively to the community and environment.

Qualifications
Valid Class 2 Driving Licence and current CPC / DIGI card are required for this role.
