About the Role
At Veolia, our drivers play a pivotal role in delivering essential services to local communities, helping to take better care of the environment and resources. With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, you will be part of a team making a positive impact every day. This role involves maintaining and cleaning public areas including streets, channels, footpaths, alleys, subways, and areas around street furniture using supplied equipment. You will perform duties efficiently to ensure maximum productivity, complete all required paperwork or electronic forms accurately, and comply with Health & Safety procedures while wearing appropriate Veolia PPE at all times. You will work independently or as part of a team, reporting any fly tipping, graffiti, fly posting, or damaged/missing litter bins. At the end of each shift, you are responsible for leaving the vehicle cab clear of litter, uniform, and personal effects. Any accidents must be reported to the manager and documented before leaving work. Full training will be provided, and you will be working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions.

Experience
- Class 2 Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC / DIGI card
- Local geographical knowledge and experience driving in the area is highly desirable
- Experience in waste transport is advantageous
About you
Reliable and safety-conscious individual committed to following Health & Safety procedures. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Good communication skills and attention to detail when completing paperwork and reporting issues.
Qualifications
Valid Class 2 Driving Licence and current CPC / DIGI card are essential for this role.
