About the Role

As an HGV Driver, you will maintain and clean public areas including streets, channels, footpaths, alleys, subways, and areas around street furniture using supplied equipment. You will perform your duties efficiently and effectively to ensure maximum productivity, accurately complete all required paperwork or electronic forms, and comply with site health and safety procedures while wearing appropriate Veolia PPE at all times. You will work independently or as part of a team, reporting any fly tipping, graffiti, fly posting, or damaged/missing litter bins. At the end of each shift, you are responsible for leaving the vehicle cab clear of litter, uniform, and personal effects. Any accidents occurring during your shift must be reported to your manager and documented before leaving work. Full training will be provided, and the role involves working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions.

Experience
- Class 2 Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC / DIGI card
- Local geographical knowledge and experience driving in the area is highly desirable
- Experience in waste transport is advantageous

Reliable and safety-conscious individual committed to following health and safety procedures. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and reporting.

Qualifications
Valid Class 2 Driving Licence and current CPC / DIGI card are essential for this role.
