About the Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver/Loader at Veolia, you will be driving 26 tonne collection vehicles on planned routes and assisting with loading bins and containers when required. You will complete daily vehicle checks in line with our driver operator handbook and use onboard technology to complete work notes. Compliance with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight of loads, is essential. You will ensure that the carriageway is left clean and any spillages are promptly cleared. This role offers overtime opportunities with weekday and weekend rates paid at enhanced levels, and drivers can earn up to an additional £1000 per month in voluntary overtime. A sign-on bonus of £750 is paid after 1 month of employment and another £750 after 12 months. Experience
Essential: Valid UK Class 2 Licence, up-to-date CPC / DIGI card. Desirable: Previous Class 2 driving experience, prior experience in the waste industry, rear steering experience or understanding.

About you
A can-do attitude with good time-management skills is essential. Being a team player is key to ensuring smooth collections. You must be prepared to complete a driving assessment as part of the interview process. Candidates with more than 6 points on their licence or DR10/DG10 endorsements will not be suitable.

Qualifications
Valid UK Class 2 Licence, CPC / DIGI card, and all relevant driving documents must be presented at the hiring day. Right to Work documentation is also required.
