+ £0.50 per hour HGV licence bonus
Overtime paid at 1.25x rate

About the Role
Join Veolia as an HGV Technician in our Southwark team and play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our fleet, third party vehicles, and plant equipment to manufacturer and industry standards. You will carry out diagnostics and repairs on hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics, and driveline systems across a mixed fleet of vehicles. The role includes performing HGV MOT inspections and preparations, completing roadside repairs when necessary, and ensuring all paperwork and timesheets are accurately maintained. Working safely within Health & Safety regulations, you will contribute to Veolia’s commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement while developing your skills through ongoing training and support. Requirements

Experience
Proven experience repairing and maintaining HGVs and plant equipment in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
Good knowledge of current HGV MOT regulations and standards.
Experience with diagnostics and repairs on hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics, and driveline systems is desirable.
Waste/RCV vehicle experience is advantageous.

Qualifications
Valid Driving Licence.
HGV Driving Licence (vocational entitlement attracts an additional £0.50 per hour bonus).
IRTEC Licence is desirable.
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Forklift licence (Counterbalance) is advantageous.
