Salary
Up to £47,840 per annum (£22.50 per hour based on a 40-hour week)
+ £0.50 per hour HGV licence bonus
Overtime paid at 1.25x rate
Sundays paid at double time
Bank Holiday working paid at double time
Sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000

About the Role
As an HGV Technician at Veolia, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of over 100 vehicle types to ensure reliable service delivery across the UK. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day servicing, MOT preparation, fault finding, and repairs of HGVs to keep them safe and operational. You will work on chassis and body systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains. The role also involves carrying out routine inspections, attending roadside breakdowns when required, and ensuring all paperwork and timesheets are accurately completed.

Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Technician is preferred, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
Experience working on HGVs or similar heavy vehicles is advantageous.
