About the Role
Join Veolia as an HGV Technician and play a pivotal role in keeping our diverse fleet of over 100 vehicle types safe and operational. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day servicing, MOT preparation, and repairs of HGVs to ensure our fleet remains reliable and available for our millions of customers. You will carry out routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards. Additionally, you will attend roadside breakdowns when required and ensure all paperwork and timesheets are accurately completed. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a company dedicated to environmental care and community support.

Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician is preferred, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent. However, skilled or semi-skilled Technicians are encouraged to apply as upskilling and further development will be provided.

You hold a valid HGV driving licence and are motivated to maintain a reliable and safe fleet. You are committed to quality workmanship and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You value working in an inclusive culture that supports both personal and professional growth.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Veolia supports ongoing training and development to help you progress in your career.
