About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a team of Environmental Managers and assist the Collections Contract Manager in improving service levels while ensuring compliance with fleet and driver regulations. You will manage frontline service operations and fleet within a high-pressure environment, delivering cost-effective services that achieve value for money. Your responsibilities will include meeting operational targets, monitoring performance, suggesting improvements, and fostering a positive team environment with strong communication and morale.

Experience
Proven staff management experience and experience managing a frontline service.
Knowledge of waste management and health & safety legislation for safe working practices.
Experience working within a high-pressure operational environment.

Qualifications
HGV licence preferred.
