About the Role
As a Skilled Technician at Veolia, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of vehicles and plant equipment, ensuring the continued delivery of our services across the UK. Your work will involve diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and drive line systems on a mixed fleet. No two days are the same, and you will contribute to Veolia’s mission of helping the world take better care of its resources while working within an inclusive and supportive culture.
Your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining Veolia and third-party vehicles in line with manufacturer and industry standards, running diagnostics using various equipment, carrying out HGV MOT inspections and preparations (training provided if needed), completing roadside repairs when necessary, and ensuring all paperwork and timesheets are accurately completed. You will work safely and responsibly, adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or HGV Technician is preferred. Experience with diagnostics and repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems is advantageous.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent is preferred
HGV driving licence is preferred but not essential (support provided to attain licence)
Must supply your own comprehensive tool kit (diagnostic equipment and specialised tools provided by Veolia)
