About the Role
Join Veolia as an HGV Technician and play a pivotal role in maintaining a diverse fleet of over 100 vehicle types. Your expertise will ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and ready to support our street side operatives in delivering essential services across the UK. No two days are the same in this dynamic role, where you will be responsible for day-to-day servicing, MOT preparation, repairs, routine inspections, fault finding, and attending roadside breakdowns when required. You will work in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards to maintain Veolia’s fleet, third-party vehicles, and plant equipment. Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Technician is preferred, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent. However, skilled or semi-skilled technicians are encouraged to apply as upskilling and development will be provided.
About You
You hold a valid HGV driving licence and are motivated to maintain a high standard of vehicle safety and reliability. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to working safely and efficiently within a team environment.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Veolia welcomes applications from candidates willing to learn and develop their skills further.
