About the Role
Are you passionate about tackling climate change and protecting nature? Do you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across teams to make a real impact? We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to help shape how we monitor and report on our ambitious Climate and Nature Strategy 2026–2030. You will work closely with the Climate and Environment team and colleagues across the Council to design effective ways to track progress against the strategy’s Action Plan. Key responsibilities include developing templates for monitoring new actions introduced in the 2026–2030 strategy, exploring and proposing solutions for creating a dashboard to visualize progress and support transparent reporting using multiple data sources and types, and contributing to shaping processes that will help deliver ambitious climate and nature goals for the district.

Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Confident working with data and creating clear, structured reports.

Qualifications
