About the Role
Are you interested in housing, sustainability, and improving the way we build homes for the future? Do you enjoy research, data analysis, and creating resources that make a real difference to people’s lives? We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to help us gather insights and develop tools that enhance our new council homes.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects including designing and implementing a tenant feedback survey for residents in new-build properties, developing a "Welcome to Your New Home" handbook focused on sustainability features like air-source heat pumps and mechanical ventilation, analysing potential savings from energy-efficient measures, and supporting ongoing improvements to new-build specifications based on feedback and data insights.
You will be part of a supportive and inclusive team environment, gaining valuable experience in local government housing initiatives with a focus on sustainability and tenant experience.
Experience
Strong research and analytical skills are essential. Experience in housing, sustainability, or energy efficiency is advantageous but not required.

You are creative and able to produce clear, engaging resources for tenants. You have an interest in housing, sustainability, and energy efficiency. You can manage multiple tasks effectively and work collaboratively with different teams. You are proactive and eager to contribute ideas that improve homes and tenant experience.
