About Net Zero Careers

Role Overview
We are a fast-growing organisation operating in the UK energy efficiency and retrofit sector. Our mission is to improve the energy performance of homes through high-quality installation of insulation and renewable technologies. Working across residential properties, we support government-backed retrofit programmes and private homeowners seeking to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions. An Internal Wall Insulation Team Leader is a frontline supervisory role responsible for leading installation teams, coordinating daily project activities, and ensuring that all internal wall insulation works meet required quality, safety, and compliance standards. As the on‑site lead, you act as the key link between installers, project managers, surveyors, and retrofit coordinators, ensuring that retrofit projects progress efficiently, safely, and to PAS 2030/2035 standards. This role combines hands‑on installation expertise with leadership, quality assurance, and documentation responsibilities.
You ensure that team members understand their tasks, follow correct installation methods, and deliver consistently high‑quality outcomes. You will also perform ongoing quality checks, address issues proactively, mentor less‑experienced installers, and uphold a safe site environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to organise, motivate, and direct a team are essential to successful delivery.
