Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to support the successful delivery of retrofit, construction, and external refurbishment projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects such as External Wall Insulation (EWI), cladding, roofing, and door/window installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You will lead and manage both directly employed trades staff and subcontractors, ensuring all work complies with company policies, specifications, and industry regulations. The role involves maintaining strong health, safety, environmental, and waste management standards, while ensuring all personnel and visitors are properly inducted and site records are kept up to date.
As a key leader on site, you will organise site meetings, coordinate resources effectively, and maintain high standards of site presentation. You will also support, motivate, and develop site staff through training, coaching, and performance management, helping ensure projects are delivered on time while meeting customer satisfaction commitments.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience of managing construction projects
Proven experience of working on high/low rise properties
Experience of managing direct and sub contracted construction/refurbishment staff
Minimum level 4 qualification (NVQ4 or HNC) or equivalent experience
SMSTS
Scaffold inspection
CSCS card
Asbestos awareness (duty to manage would be desirable).
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills

Experience within the social housing sector
Up to £52,000 per annum
Motor Expenditure Allowance (£4,000).
