Role Overview
We are a fast-growing organisation operating in the UK energy efficiency and retrofit sector. Our mission is to improve the energy performance of homes through high-quality installation of insulation and renewable technologies. Working across residential properties, we support government-backed retrofit programmes and private homeowners seeking to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions. We are looking for an Internal Wall Insulation Installer is responsible for improving the energy efficiency and comfort of residential properties by installing high‑quality internal wall insulation systems. The role involves preparing work areas, fitting insulation materials in line with manufacturer and industry standards, and ensuring full compliance with PAS 2030/2035 requirements. Installers work closely with surveyors, retrofit coordinators, and fellow installers to deliver safe, compliant, and customer‑focused installations in occupied homes.
Salary Range: £30,000-42,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
· Install internal wall insulation systems in residential properties in accordance with manufacturer guidance and industry standards
· Prepare work areas including removal of fixtures and surface preparation
· Install insulation boards, vapour barriers and plasterboard systems
· Ensure installations comply with PAS 2030/2035 and health & safety standards
· Work collaboratively with surveyors, coordinators and other installers
· Maintain a safe and tidy working environment on site
· Complete installation records and job documentation
· Provide professional and courteous service when working in occupied homes
Experience installing internal wall insulation or similar construction work
Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques
Understanding of PAS 2030 standards (desirable)
CSCS card preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and within a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
