About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will take responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities, and assist in managing the maintenance team. Your role is to ensure that all maintenance jobs are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations during their stay.
You will proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with great attention to detail and a passion for fixing things. You must be able to work to deadlines, confidently liaise with contractors, and take responsibility for health and safety. Organisation, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail are essential.
Experience working in the maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required, and knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.

Experience
Previous experience working in the maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required. Knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.

You must be organised, a good communicator, able to work to deadlines, and confident in liaising with contractors. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for fixing things are essential. A proactive approach to completing maintenance tasks and schedules is required.
Qualifications
