About the Role
When you see the world as we do, you see the chance to help the world take better care of its resources and help it become a better place for everyone. As a Maintenance Technician you’ll be pushing for innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future for all. You will deliver mechanical tasks on a planned and reactive basis in support of the safe and efficient operation of our wastewater processes. Your responsibilities include completing all planned preventative, planned corrective and reactive maintenance tasks across the AVSE project, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work orders and associated documentation. You will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor on all mechanical and/or electrical maintenance activities and provide technical support and feedback to senior members of the maintenance and operations teams to facilitate capital work interventions. You will participate proactively in team activities and provide technical assistance to all site teams. Additionally, you will assist the wider Process/Operation teams with troubleshooting and problem-solving related to asset issues. Maintaining the highest levels of onsite Health and Safety is essential, as is reporting accurate data into the computerised maintenance management system and providing up-to-date asset information. You will work closely with operations, process and maintenance teams across the Seafield, Almond Valley and Esk wastewater treatment sites that form part of the Scotland PFI contract. Managing on-site activities through the correct use of all relevant Permit to Work systems is also a key part of this role.
