Location
Salford Road HWRC Facility - Greater Manchester. This role requires travel between sites throughout Greater Manchester, so your own transport is essential.

Hours
Working a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern. Start/finish times vary seasonally: 10.5 hours per shift in Winter (07:45 - 18:15) and 12.5 hours per shift in Summer (07:45 - 20:15). Working 38.5 hours per week (pro rata), Monday to Sunday.

Salary
£29,764.65 per annum / £14.82 per hour

You will provide excellent customer service by advising and assisting the public on site usage to maximise material recovery. Responsibilities include operating mobile plant, maintaining accurate records, managing container exchanges to ensure efficient site operation, and keeping the site tidy. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, legal duties, site permits, and company policies. Full PPE is provided. This is a varied role requiring flexibility and teamwork within a supportive environment focused on sustainability and community service.

Experience
Prior experience operating mobile plant is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Enthusiastic team player with a good level of customer service skills. A flexible approach to work is important as you may be required to cover holidays and sick days. You should be committed to maintaining high operational standards and working collaboratively within the site team.

Qualifications
Full driving license is required. There is potential to gain additional qualifications including IOSH health and safety training.
