
Location
Arkwright Street HWRC Facility - Greater Manchester. This role requires travel between sites throughout Greater Manchester, so your own transport is needed.
Hours
Working a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern. Start/finish times vary seasonally: 10.5 hours per shift in Winter (between 07:45 and 18:15), and 12.5 hours per shift in Summer (between 07:45 and 20:15). Working 38.5 hours per week (pro rata), Monday to Sunday.
Salary
£29,764.65 per annum / £14.82 per hour

As a Mobile Recycling Operative, you will provide excellent customer service by advising and assisting members of the public on how to use the site to maximise material recovery. Responsibilities include operating mobile plant, maintaining accurate records of material removal, controlling container exchanges to ensure adequate site space, and keeping the site tidy within your area of responsibility.
You will ensure compliance with all health, safety, and welfare regulations, cooperate with SUEZ policies and procedures, and perform any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role. Full PPE is provided.

Experience
Prior experience operating mobile plant is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

You are an enthusiastic team player with a good level of customer service skills and the ability to work well within a team. A flexible approach to work is important, as you may be required to cover holiday and sick days.
Qualifications
A full driving license is required. There is potential to gain further qualifications, including IOSH health and safety training, as part of this role.
