Location
Adswood HWRC Facility - Greater Manchester. This role requires travel between sites throughout Greater Manchester, so your own transport is needed.

Hours
Working a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern. Start/finish times vary seasonally: 10.5 hours per shift in Winter (07:45 - 18:15) and 12.5 hours per shift in Summer (07:45 - 20:15). Working 38.5 hours per week (pro rata), Monday to Sunday.

Salary
£29,764.65 per annum / £14.82 per hour

As a Mobile Recycling Operative, you will help preserve and restore our planet’s natural capital for future generations. You will provide excellent customer service by advising and assisting members of the public on how to use the site to maximise material recovery. Responsibilities include operating mobile plant, maintaining accurate records for material removal, controlling container exchanges to ensure proper segregation and storage, and keeping the site tidy within your area of responsibility. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and welfare regulations, cooperate with colleagues to meet site permit requirements, and perform any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role. Experience
Prior experience operating mobile plant is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

You are an enthusiastic team player with a good level of customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively. A flexible approach to work is important as you may be required to cover holiday and sick days.

Qualifications
A full driving license is required. There is potential to gain further qualifications including IOSH health and safety training.
